Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’
FARMER’S BREAKFAST SANDWICH at Se7en Bites
This wake-me-up handheld starts with toasted ciabatta to form a nice textural foundation for two eggs, fried green tomatoes, a sizable smear of pimento cheese and your choice of either applewood smoked bacon or sausage.
MARDI GRAS OMELET at Another Broken Egg Café
This offering transports you to the Big Easy with an omelet packed with Louisiana crawfish, gulf shrimp, andouille sausage and red peppers. Hollandaise, diced tomatoes and scallions are welcomed finishing touches.
PORK BELLY WAFFLE at Briarpatch
It’s hard not to love this dish composed of a Belgian waffle topped with thick-cut, bourbon-braised pork belly and two sunny side up eggs, all brought together with drizzles of a maple bourbon glaze.
CROISSANT FRENCH TOAST at Santiago’s Bodega
Sure, brioche and challah make some great French toast, but we’re partial to this unique spin where delicate, flaky croissants are fried up golden brown and served with an apricot-pecan cream cheese for a little added decadence.

Café Tu Tango
POTATO AND LEEK FRITTATA at New General Café
Layers of thinly sliced potatoes are intertwined with scrambled eggs, creamy goat cheese and leeks and then plated with a swoosh of romesco sauce and a side salad.
STEAK & EGGS at Hampton Social
A riff on a popular brunch staple, this mouthwatering plate consists of expertly grilled sirloin, a fried egg and noteworthy accompaniments of sliced avocado, blistered tomatoes, pickled red onions and cauliflower rice.
SHORT RIB HASH at Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’
Comfort food at its finest, this brunch menu item features a short rib hash made with grilled corn succotash, potatoes, onions and peppers, crowned with two sunny side up eggs and served with a cheddar drop biscuit.
BREAKFAST TACOS at Café Tu Tango
Start the day off right over at this I-Drive mainstay with an order of huevos rancheros, crumbled chorizo sausage and a jalapeño-jack cheese over freshly made open-faced tortillas.

The Stubborn Mule
PORK SCHNITZEL at The Ravenous Pig
Tender, juicy pork is breaded and fried in the traditional manner and served with pillow-y potato agnolotti pasta, mushrooms and salty additions of crispy pancetta and fresh capers.
SHAKASHUKA at The Glass Knife
The depth of flavor pleases your palate with every bite as you make your way through this skillet filled with a spiced tomato sauce where onions, green peppers, zucchini and mushrooms swim next to chunks of feta cheese and a fried egg. If you know, you know.
SEAFOOD CREOLE at Maxine’s on Shine
Creamy polenta serves as the base for an onslaught of shrimp, scallops and mussels, not to mention bell peppers, sausage and onions. The piquant creole sauce helps provide a little punch and give the dish further character.
DUCK AND WAFFLES at DoveCote Restaurant
Allow us to introduce you to this tantalizing number where crispy duck confit is plated atop a sweet bubble waffle and made complete with buttery foie gras and wild berry honey.
STONE FRUIT & PROSCUITTO FLATBREAD at The Stubborn Mule
Seasonal stone fruit provides some tartness and acidity to counterbalance the salty ribbons of prosciutto on this shareable flatbread that also contains heirloom tomatoes and mozzarella cheese.

Chroma Kitchen and Bar
MOLTEN STRAWBERRY FRENCH TOAST at Chroma Kitchen and Bar
We get hungry just thinking about this large cube of brioche piped full of strawberry cream cheese and polished off with dulce de leche, “torched” strawberries, Vermont maple syrup and, of course, plenty of powdered sugar.
HANGOVER BURGER at White Wolf Café
When last night’s good time turns into today’s regret, head over to White Wolf to chow down on the perfect cure for what ails you—an eight-ounce brisket and short rib patty topped with hash browns, a fried egg and cheddar.
SOCO WEDGE SALAD at Soco
A lighter selection from the brunch menu, this stellar salad is a delightful mix of iceberg lettuce, avocado, pork belly and pumpkin seeds dressed with a caramelized onion-blue cheese dressing.

Mia’s Italian Kitchen
CINNAMON ROLL WAFFLE at Russel’s on Lake Ivanhoe
It’s like the best of both worlds when two sweet treats collide to form this waffle star studded with fresh berries, a cinnamon sugar glaze as well as a cream cheese glaze.
ITALIAN SCRAMBLE at Mia’s Italian Kitchen
A scrambled eggs dish that nonna would approve of, these fluffy eggs contain an amalgamation of pepperoni, roasted peppers, mushrooms and caramelized onions. Dig in with a fork or pile some onto a slice of thick-cut rustic toast.

American Social
FRUITY PEBBLES CHICKEN AND WAFFLES at American Social
How do you make chicken and waffles even more enticing? You drop a bunch of Fruity Pebbles cereal on top of the crispy chicken, add some maple mascarpone and then drench it all with a habanero-strawberry jam. That’s how.
SHRIMP AND GRITS at The Osprey
Creamy white Anson Mills grits—which have tremendous texture and flavor—are ladled into a bowl along with romesco sauce, grilled Florida shrimp and sliced medallions of andouille sausage.
LOADED BREAKFAST POTATOES at Canvas Restaurant and Market
When they say loaded, this place means loaded. A skillet of roasted potatoes is topped with bacon and pickled jalapeño rings, sprinkled with Parmesan cheese and buttoned up with dollops of a paprika aioli.

The Hammered Lamb
CROQUETTAS DE JAMÓN at Bulla Gastrobar
There’s a lot to love on the inspired tapas menu and that includes these standout croquettes, breaded and fried crisp after being stuffed with dry-cured serrano ham. The sweetness of fig jelly pairs well with the ham to create one harmonious bite.
LAMB AVOCADO TOAST at The Hammered Lamb
Just when we thought our love affair with avocado toast was over, this dish reignited the flame. Mashed avocado is spread atop toasted Challah and then covered with ground lamb and sunny side up eggs.

Canvas Restaurant and Market
BREAD PUDDING FRENCH TOAST at Outpost Kitchen, Bar & Provisions
When you’re in the mood for something sweet vs. savory, look no further than this plate of thick-cut, custard-soaked brioche that comes with your choice of either blueberry, peach or strawberry fruit compote.
PIG CANDY BLANKETS at The Porch
This whimsical brunch treat showcases three “cronuts” tossed in powdered sugar, filled with thick house-smoked bacon and served with a maple dipping sauce for good measure. You may need a couple orders for the table.
