• I used a ‘naughty’ word in a text to my wife. Regrettably, my 9YO was holding her phone at the time.
• Every day I get home from a 12-hr workday, my wife says thanks for supporting the family. I remind her that I have the easy end of the deal!
• My wife made me a 2-page ‘To Do’ list and “take a nap” is not even listed. I know, right?!
• Trying to take a nap on the couch while my wife is clanging dishes while unloading the dishwasher. Sometimes people can be so inconsiderate!
• Went to Ross today, treated myself to new shoes & watch. HOLY COW, this is exhilarating! I hope my wife doesn’t learn how cool shopping is!
• I’ve been alone in this hotel room for nearly a week and I just realized I still put the toilet seat down. My wife has trained me well.
• I was reminiscing with my wife about a concert we saw together in the 1990’s. The fun ended when she told me she never went to that concert.
• 6YO Hudson makes sound effects when he shakes someone’s hand. If my wife had told me kids do this, I would have agreed to have kids sooner.
• PANIC! I forgot to tell my wife that my parents are coming to town this weekend. Do I tell her now or act really surprised when they show up?
• I’m finding all my favorite shirts in my wife’s consignment sales stack. I see that ‘favorite’ is not a universal designation.
• I love it when I walk into a room at my house and ask, “Hey, honey?” And both my wife and 8YO daughter turn and say, “Yes?”
