Bottle Cap Magnets

Materials

• Bottle caps
• Paint color swatches or colored paper
• Scissors
• A quarter
• Craft casting epoxy or resin
• Small stickers (to fit inside caps)
• A strong bonding agent or glue
• Magnets

Instructions

1. Cut out circles from the color paint swatches using your quarter as a guide. You can get swatches in a variety of colors at any hardware or paint store.
2. Place the desired sticker on top of swatch. Consider using a holiday design or other theme such as sports, school, letters, etc.
3. Place the now stickered swatch into the bottle cap.
4. Following the instructions for your casting agent or resin, carefully pour the solution into the bottle cap. Bubbles will appear, however they will go away as the solution hardens.
5. Allow it to dry (overnight is best). Use glue or bonding agent to attach a magnet to the back of your designed bottle cap.

Scrabble Tile Magnets

Materials

• Scrabble tiles
• Recycled greeting cards, business cards, or cardstock
• A strong bonding agent or glue
• Scissors
• Magnets

Instructions

1. Create and arrange words using scrabble tiles.
2. To create a surface for tiles, cut recycled greeting cards to size (length of tile word).
3. Glue tiles onto this surface.
4. Glue a magnet onto the back using a strong bonding agent.
