• Winter Garden’s Chef’s Table at the Edgewater was listed on OpenTable’s 100 Best Restaurants in America list for 2016. Other Central Florida eateries that made the cut are Winter Haven’s Arabellas Italian Ristorante and Daytona Beach’s The Cellar. The list is based on OpenTable user reviews collected between November 2015 and October 2016.

• New microbreweries have announced plans to open in Clermont and Ocoee in 2017. Suncreek Brewery is setting up in downtown Clermont with a 10-barrel brewing operation. Moving into downtown Ocoee, Toll Road Brewing Co. will start as a three-barrel operation but could possibly expand down the road.

• In November, Hemisphere at the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport reopened after a four-month, $3.2 million remodel that refurbished the kitchen and modernized the dining area. The eatery also debuted a new menu and self-service wine cuvees, and it still offers the same breathtaking view of the airport.

• Fans of downtown Orlando’s Cafe Annie will be glad to know that the owner is opening a new Mediterranean and Lebanese restaurant in Baldwin Park. While the venture doesn’t yet have a firm opening date, it will be called Meza Mediterranean Grill and will feature kebabs, seafood, steak and salads.

GameTime, a South Florida-based arcade and sports-bar restaurant group with seven locations throughout the state, has announced it will bring its family oriented business to Ocoee. Specifically, they’re remodeling a 25,000- square-foot building near the West Oaks Mall. The company is also bringing a location to Daytona Beach.
