Reindeer Holiday T-Shirt
Made with Christmas Spirit…North Pole Approved
These adorable hand-made shirts are fun to make, cute to wear, and sure to attract Santa’s attention. But be warned, he may want to recruit your little fawn to guide his sleigh on Christmas Eve.
Materials:
- T-Shirt (any color)
- Paint (light brown, dark brown)
- Paint brush
- Pom-Pom (red or black)
- Large googly eyes
- Accessories (optional): ribbon, bell, silver stars
- Glue gun or Elmer’s glue
Directions:
- Place a piece of newspaper or cardboard in the inside of the shirt to prevent bleed-through.
- This is the fun part: Paint the bottom of your child’s foot with a light color (we chose beige). Carefully guide your child’s foot over the shirt, toes facing toward the top, and have him/her step down with pressure. You may have to repeat this step for full coverage. Fill in large gaps using a paintbrush.
- For the antlers, paint the right hand with a darker color (we chose dark brown) and press down on the top-right side of the footprint. Then paint the left hand and do the same to the left side of the footprint.
- After the paint has dried, use a glue gun or Elmer’s glue to apply the nose and eyes. We chose to accessorize by gluing small silver stars to the antlers, and safety-pinning a bell with ribbon to the side of the antlers to give it character
